BBC recently has a report on "The Rise of the global middle class". Asia is almost entirely responsible for this growth. Its middle class is forecast to triple to 1.7 billion by 2020. Within a decade, the middle class in Europe and North America will be less than a third of the world's total, down from more than half now. So who counts as middle class? it's someone who earns or spends $10 to $100 per day. So, regardless what business you are in, if you are an entrepreneur, this study would help us position ourselves for our future business.
